The TTD Team is back for the third round of TTDSL, and this time, they are up against the formidable One Direction (1D) team. They’ve played two lost two - the only way is up…
TTD Line Up:
Leading the charge for the TTD Team, Tom the Frog (Tom Maynard), is determined to make a significant impact against the talented 1D lineup. Following him is the Captain (Garth Kinlocke), who is eager to show the youngsters how it’s done and lead his team to victory. At three, Pocket Rocket (Umair Mauthoor) has arguably been the banker player for TTD so far this season, he faces two tough matches in this fixture though. Finally, Ringer steps back into the lineup, eager to boost the team from the bottom up. Beast and Founder are on the bench for this one with Beast still nursing an injury.
1D Line Up:
The One Direction team arguably has the most strength in depth of all the TTDSL teams this season. Current England no 1 junior Connor Green is a new signing for the 1D team in season 2. He has been on the show many times before and will be gunning for the TTD boys. At two, Poww (Naphong Boonyaprapa), brings power play and crazy clump shots to the table. His brother, Naphat, is also a regular on the episodes and will be looking to do some damage here. Finally, Amir Hussain (Silent Assassin) has gone undercover to take out the TTD team. We all know what Amir is capable of with his impressive attacks off both wings.
With the TTD Team seeking their first win of the season and the One Direction team bringing a mix of talent and experience, the match promises to be a thrilling showdown.
